Harmonica

Though there are no pictures, I wanted to share one of Mason's newest talents. He has developed a love for the harmonica. Michael gave him an old harmonica, figuring it was a safe instrument and Mason can not be separated from it. My favorite part is my own personal music show in the car, every morning. I simply ask him to play me a song and he is off, puffing away. The ladies will be falling at his feet, in a few years. Who doesn't love a harmonica love song :)

Snow play

Though we have only had a couple of snow storms, each one brought a lot of snow. Mason is getting reacquainted with the snow and has finally realized that sledding is fun and throwing snowballs at the dogs is even more fun!

New Years Eve

This New Years Eve was spent playing with Mason's new train set and a movie with popcorn. Truly a party designed for a 2 year old! Since Mason's birthday and Christmas are so close together, we tried to spread out the toys a little bit. So we held onto his new train set until NYE, as you can see, we had one happy kid.

Edaville

This weekend we ventured out into the very cold night, to Edaville. We met up with a few friends and enjoyed some rides and then a train ride through the village of lights.

and of course a walk through Santa's village

The Birthday Party

Mason had a great time at his 2nd birthday party. It was held at an indoor playground and with 12 kids, there was lots of fun. The jungle party, included monkey cupcakes, which were a big hit.

Lots of presents....yeah!

Happy 2nd Birthday

The greatest love of all is a child's love
To love your child and have them love you back

Two years ago I experienced the greatest love. A small bundle, warm and hungry, was laid on my chest. The love I had longed to have, was finally here, Mason Koa had finally arrived. It's hard to believe that two years have passed. That small little baby, is now a running, talking, jumping ball of energy, full of hugs and kisses. "I do it" is the new favorite phrase, independence, he is not lacking. My little baby is now a boy, a curious, boisterous, tender hearted boy.

Happy Birthday Mason

Halloween 2009 - Giraffe

This was Mason's first time Trick or Treating. Last year, he was less than a year old and really had no interested. This year was a different story. He loved getting dressed up and would not give up his candy bucket, for anything. After our Trick or Treating in Scituate Harbor, he was thrilled to be home and count his loot. He wasn't interested in eating the candy, counting it was enough fun for him. I'm sure next year will be a different story.

surprisingly, he wasn't afraid of anything.
