Halloween 2010

This year we hosted a Halloween party for Mason and his friends. It was a great time, most of the kids came dressed in their costumes, we did a ghost puppet craft, had pizza and cupcakes and then topped it off with in door Trick or Treating. Notice Mason not dressed in his costume. After weeks of declaring to anyone that would listen that he was going to be Iron Man for Halloween, he put the costume on twice. Once for his preschool party (for a total of 10 minutes) and Halloween night itself. I guess he figured he could get more candy, without the physical restrictions of a costume.
First a little train time
Pizza time

First day of Preschool

How horrible, no post since September! Life has been BUSY, but no more excuses, here's to catching up!

Mason started Preschool in September. He was so excited and Mommy was a little nervous. He loves school, never had a problem being left or knowing that "Mommy's always come back". He has done very well and has made lots of friends.

Maine Lake House

In August we took a 7 day trip to Maine and stayed at a little house on Sebago Lake, with the Heinrich family. It was a great week, filled with swimming, boating, popsicles and camp fires. Every morning Mason would get up grab his fishing pole and some bread. After feeding the ducks and geese that were eagerly waiting for their morning snack, he would cast his fishing pole and see if the fish were hungry, as well.

Masons favorite time of day, was when the ice cream truck would come down the street. Iron Man popsicle almost every day.

on our last morning there, many more ducks and geese were waiting for Mason. Apparently the word got out, in the water fowl crowd.

Disneyland 2010

While we were in California for Mike's high school graduation, we took a day to visit Disneyland. This was Mason's first trip, so GramGram, Papa, Auntie Brigitte, Garrett and Grant came along. We all had a great time. Mason did so well, after 8 hours, he was still asking to go on the tea cups, again. This was perhaps, my best trip to Disneyland, ever!

Fun in the sun

We visited our favorite nature reserve, Worlds End. As you can tell it was a stunning day.

Bird feeder

Michael and Mason built a bird feeder for the tree in the front yard. We have found many bird nests in the surrounding trees, so we wanted to give all the tired Mama birds a easy food source. It was a lot of fun and a great learning experience for Mason.

Spring time fun

The Weir River Farm had their annual Spring festival and just like last year, we couldn't wait to see all the animals. This year we went with some friends and the boys, Mason and Caleb, had a great time.
