A Day with Thomas the Train

Today was Mason's day out with Thomas the Train. It was an early morning and one filled with lots of anticipation.
It was a beautiful day and yes the highway was this empty...boy we don't miss LA traffic!
though it was only a 30 minute drive, Mason decided he needed a power nap
The first time he heard the train....it's coming, it's coming!
Chasing the train
The conductor waving Hello!

this will be his first train ride...the anticipation!
looking for frogs in the ponds we passed
after the train ride, it was time for some other rides...Mason's first carnival ride
that's us, way up high
Mason got to ride this one alone...very exciting
then the carousel

It was a great day and we hope to visit Edaville again, soon!

Another day at the farm

It was a beautiful Fall morning that beckoned a trip to the farm...how could we resist. We visited the Weir River Farm again and this time, we got to see sheep and pigs! Mason loved the chickens and one "loved" him a little too much, which resulted in a cut on his finger.

PIGS!
Miss Llama

Moments before that sweet looking chicken decided it wanted to taste Mason. The many requests for him to keep his hands/fingers back, apparently fell on deaf ears.

The artist within

Mason has been exploring the world of finger paint and so far, he has been doing great. Sure he tasted the paint a few (way too many) times, but the final product was great. Here are a few pictures that capture the painting journey.

Random summer pics

Mason is a goofy boy, he loves to make people laugh and seems to go out of his way, to do so.
sometimes the task needs to be a little more challenging

Popsicle!

What better way to enjoy a summer day, then a popsicle!
